I have done a lot of remodeling and building projects over the years as both a hobby and for friends & family, and after 25+ years in the corporate world, I actually was a site superintendent for a builder and oversaw the construction of about 20 homes in the $350-400K price range.

With that experience and background, I can comfortably say that the work that Daniel and his team did for my wife and me was done well, at a fair price, and actually exceeded our expectations.

With respect to the completion timeframe, even with the impacts of some weather-related issues and the inherent aspects of the schedule sometimes being dependent on the delivery of custom-made windows from the manufacturer/supplier - Daniel and Screen Squad worked diligently to complete the project in a timely manner and completed it only slightly behind the original (and somewhat optimist) target date.

Our project included:
- demolition of the existing screen framework and some structural reconfiguration
- reframing and building a knee-wall on 3 sides of the room
- installing 7 custom Genius windows
- installing new doors
- re-wiring the room to include adding recessed ceiling lights, new switches, and both interior & exterior outlets
- framing, facing with stone, and installing a gas unit in building a 6’ wide floor to ceiling corner fireplace
- installing a new wide-plank pine floor
- building a 8’x8’ exterior entry landing using Trex decking
- installing exterior cement/fiber board siding to match the rest of the house
- finish trim work
- painting both the interior and exterior of the new room

Daniel was easy to work with, responsive and proactive in communicating with us, flexible when we wanted to make some minor tweaks to the design over the course of seeing the room come together, and it is evident that he and his team take pride in their work and treatment of their customers.

For reference, our project was just recently completed (the Final Inspection was done on July 6th). ”
